Families Igniting Resources & Education For Liberated Youth.

We are FIREFLY -- Families Igniting Resources and Education For Liberated Youth.

We are a community of trans, non-binary and allied youth, families, providers, and organizers dedicated to creating an inclusive space for connection, education, and mutual aid. Our mission is to envision and build a more liberated world for trans and gender-diverse youth--one that ensures access to affirming healthcare, legal advocacy, family and youth empowerment, and community connection. We are gathering for a first annual weekend family conference to foster growth, learning, and celebration for families at every stage of their journey.

Registration Agreements

Good Faith Attestation

I am registering myself and anyone included in my order in good faith, with a genuine intention to participate in and support the Firefly Conference mission.

I agree that all attendees in my order will:

  • Attend to share and access information, resources, and community support.
  • Avoid disruption, protest, harassment, violence, or behavior that undermines the event.
  • Take no photos or recordings without written permission from conference organizers.
  • Keep the location and participant identities private unless permission has been given.

I understand that failure to follow these community agreements may lead to denial of entry or removal from the event without a refund.

Required Security Screening Call & Event Access Information

To protect participants, potential attendees may be asked to join a 1-on-1 pre-conference video call to review community agreements and share their goals for attending. Completing the screening process is required before entry can be granted.

The conference location will be shared only with approved registrants, approximately two weeks before the event.

Secondary Registration Form & Follow Up Communication

After ticketing, registration is not complete until you have filled out an additional, more secure registration form through CryptPad CryptPad is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted alternative to collaborative office suites like Google Docs or Microsoft 365. It is used by teams and individuals to create, edit, and share documents privately, ensuring that user data remains invisible to service administrators and third-party advertisers. . The link to this form will be embedded in your email receipt from givebutter.com after the ticketing purchase is completed.
